Seyyale
Seyyale is a design in HiArc's Anatolian Codes collection that transforms form into movement.
It takes its name from the Arabic word seyyale – meaning “flowing, in a state of flux.”
This word represents an inner movement that gives life and rhythm to a static object.
The wavy form on the back reminds us of the movement of water or wind;
The spherical feet that carry the body fix this flow to the earth.
The textured fabric used on the surface carries both the memory of craftsmanship from the past and the organic rhythm of nature.
Seyyale is a functional sculpture where form transforms into flow.
It is neither completely static nor completely mobile—it exists in between, in a temporary yet permanent state.
Material: Solid hornbeam, natural lacquer, textured and patterned fabric
Dimensions: 120 × 60 × 78 cm
