Mütteka

Mutteka is the statue of endurance and reliance in the Hi Arc universe.

It takes its name from the Arabic word muttaqa—meaning “support,” “reclining place.”

This meaning is reinterpreted in every curve of the form:

The continuity of the sphere and the solidity of the line are combined, and a balance is established between function and emotion.

While the red lacquered legs represent the ground that supports the body, the textured green fabric surface evokes a peace of nature.
