Sayeban

Sayeban is a design from Hi Arc's Anatolian Codes collection that combines the concepts of protection and elegance in the same form.

It takes its name from the Persian word sayeban, meaning “canopy”—a temporary but permanent space that filters light and shrouds peace.

The soft waveform abstractly represents the resting state of the human body.

While the turned legs carry the sculptural power of tradition, the curve of the form presents an inviting stance like a “shadow space”.

The spiral texture on the surface implies an internal continuity and rhythm of time; the object establishes a relationship with both space and memory.

Sayeban transforms rest into an aesthetic act—a functional sculpture that frees the body from its weight and shelters the mind.
